Guests now have the opportunity to join guided tours on two-wheeled Segway Personal Transporters (PTs), the first, self-balancing electric vehicles ever developed.
Press Release Body: Swissotel Le Plaza Basel is the only hotel in Switzerland to have Segway PTs and seven vehicles are waiting for guests of the luxury hotel to simply hop on and go. Visitors can zoom around Basel for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, at a speed of up to 15 km/h, enjoying the guided sightseeing tours and discovering the beautiful city. "Three different, attractive routes have been developed by Basel Tourism and we are pleased that we are now able to offer this fabulous service to Swissotel guests."
